Luminus Devices today declared that its most recent generation of the PT-54 LED chipset will power the LG HW300T high brightness portable LED projector.

Interestingly, this latest Projector will come with so many smart TV features such as built-in access to pre-paid High Definition movies from Vudu as well as social networking services such as Facebook or Twitter.

The HW300T is compatible with the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) protocol via wireless network.

“As our 5th generation portable LED projector, the HW300T adds exclusive features intended to facilitate access to digital media as well as online content and is positioned to accelerate the adoption of our products as a large screen high-definition display for the home,” said Brian Park, marketing team leader for LG Electronics. “Continued advances from Luminus’ Big Chip LEDs have allowed us to increase the brightness of our Smart TV LED projectors while at the same time reducing its total power consumption to less than 100W, resulting in an extremely energy-efficient and very compact product.”

Luminus has announced that it will exhibit the new LG HW300T LED Projector at Infocomm, June 15-17, at booth #2589 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.
