Microsoft Office for Mac in 2010

All of you who have been desperately waiting for the upcoming version of the Microsoft Office for Mac will have to keep a little patience as the company has announced that the next version of MS Office will be unveiled in the next year, i.e. 2010.

Have a look at what Wilfrid said:

“We’re building on the most modern OS X frameworks to make Outlook beautiful, to make it high performance, and to make it well integrated with the OS,”

Wilfrid stated that they will say ‘bye’ to the previously used Carbon system and employ the latest Cocoa development frameworks technology of Apple for creating new Outlook. Also, due to the incapability of Entourage in terms to large databases backup, they will be using a new database for newer Outlook.

Support for information rights management is another feature of the upcoming Outlook. This feature will support cross-platform technologies to deal with secure data. Guys! This means increased credibility and improved performance. I guess your patience in waiting will indeed be rewarding! Keep waiting till next update!
